As we all can Notice that world’s population is increasing day by day and due to increase in the number of populations, the number of vehicles are also increasing and their uses. This has been created a problem for parking the vehicles. Now in Metropolitan cities also, the areas are very less for parking and to deal with all this we required a good plan and major steps which can reduce the parking problem. The entrance into parking slot is also managed by an android based application. To overcome this problem we need to take a certain steps. In this research paper, is shown for Classic Parked Systems. Autonomous vehicle is a hot research area now.
Introduction
I. INTRODUCTION
This research Paper focuses on Autonomous Parking Based on Android Technology for avoiding the parking problems and provides process of pre-Booking the slots available through the simple and interactive android application. This Application is expected to provide an efficient and cost-effective solution to the parking problems. This research paper provides and describe the complete idea about the architecture of our Applicaton.
The user must have an android supported device so that he/she install the app and utilise the benefit of this application. After the installation of this app user need to register first through the Gmail id and move further and set a special character and words for Passsword.
Then he/she login to our application through the resister Gmail id. Now user can book for the available slots for his vehicles parking. Booking of the slot need to be done at a user location. Payment service has also been made on the basis of time duration for the vehicle parking. Penalty may be also included for the extra use of parking hours. Charges for the parking has been done on the basis of hours.
During the booking time the user need to give his vehicle id and contact number for complete registration of slot Booking. According to the requirements of the user we have given contact number of several drivers so that the user may contact them and park their vehicles in given parking slot.
II. PARKING ISSUE IN INDIA
A. Need for Parking System:
The biggest issue with owning a car in a metropolitan city in India is finding a suitable parking space due to a lack of parking space. The number of cars in India is more than 40 million, which corporations and personal individuals own. And the number is increasing day by day because of the affordable prices of cars and the improvement of the economic status of a middle-class person. In recent time there has been an increase in the number of vehicles, but the space for parking has not increased according to the requirements. As a result, around 40% of road space is utilized for parking instead of transport activity. Which increases road accidents.
B. Solution To Parking Problems
The parking problem can be eliminated by using various parking solutions in this paper, the various parking systems and their advantages & limitations are discussed.
Insufficient parking places.
The large number of accidents due to, the false parking.
No information about available free spots.
Vehicle blocked due to parking in unauthorized parking areas.
Traffic jam due to search of free parking spots.
In the case of massive parking garages, it’s common for people to forget where they have parked their vehicles.
C. Future Scope of This App
We have made this app very flexible in such a manner that adding new features will be very easy. In future this application can be implemented on the existing operation systems like Ios and windows. And also it would be viable to add some extra features like extend the time period of booked slot and should be possible to send message to user before expired time period. This can be help people on a large scale in near future so that people need not to waste extra time.

D. Server and Database
The server works with the database as a bridge between mobile applications and the cloud, where if a person wants to reserve a position in a certain period of time, the server asks the cloud information about the available positions and positions occupied and presented to the consumer to search for a position that suits him. The server sends an update to the cloud that this consumer has chosen a position and set the time of entry and exit, and then sends a signal to the display screen to reserve the position, and the server is connected to a database of all consumers who have booked by mobile phone and entry and exit times.
E. Database
In smart parking database is necessary to work the parking easily and conveniently. The database acts as an intermediary between the internal network and the external network represented in the application. The database includes the data of each car booked position such as the car number, color and driver name and the last time the parking was reserved and the number of hours reserved. Payment is also done, and this method is done with all cars that have reserved parking, the database must also have a reference copy of the data be a reference in case of damage or loss of data. The database will be available individually in case someone wanted to see his data when entering the parking.
F. Android Application
In this module, an Android Application is developed to instantiate the system. The Android Application would be developed by making use of Android ADT-bundle and the platform used would be Eclipse-Kepler. The Android application is developed using JAVA code.
Using the JAVA compiler the source files are converted to JAVA class files. The Android SDK contains a tool which converts java class files into a .dex file. The .dex file and android application are packed into .apk(Android package file). The resulting .apk file contains all data to run the android application. The Android system is more secured and contains permission system. Using slot allocation method the android application is developed. The request is updated in server and forwards it to parking area.

Conclusion
In this paper, the development of reservation for parking slots commanded by android application, number plate recognition, parking slot status and electronic billing system is implemented. The proposed system reduces the drivers effort and time to search parking space. Also the payment transaction is handled online which makes the system less human dependent.
Study of parking facilities are very complex process as it involves numerous activities depending on execution of each activity in accordance with parking specifications and proper survey.
