Now a day there is a many more harmful cosmetic products are available in market. For overcome these problem these present research gives information about the herbal lipstick.it includes the evolutionary properties, advantages& characteristics of herbal lipstick.
We formulate here herbal lipstick having minimal side effects or no side effects, these preparation using herbal ingredients. We have formulated the formulation by using ingredients such as liquid para fine, wax, oil, lanoline, methyl paraffin, TiO2, Hard wax and Vaseline and main extract used are cinnamon, pomegranate, papaya, alovera, onion, turmeric, sandalwood, neem. Role of cinnamon in lipstick is to give a more polished and plumping effect.
Pomegranate plays an important role in it can nourish and moisturize lips as well as help restore give a natural looking pink color.

Included in this definition are products such as skin moisturizers, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail polishes, eye and facial makeup preparations, shampoos, permanent waves, hair colours, toothpastes, and deodorants, as well as any material intended for use as a component of a cosmetic product.

C. Lipstick Cosmetic
Formulation is used to protect the lips from sun damage and pollution and also increase the beauty of lips. It is too easy to handle in any generation women. Recently the use of botanicals in cosmetics have increased mainly due to the mild action and non-toxic nature.
In cosmetics, both natural and phyto-ingredients are used. Natural products include oils, extracts, secretions etc. Phyto-ingredients include pure constituents obtained by various process.

Aloe binds moisture to your skin, making them feel less dry. The main use of alovera in lipstick is for lips that are dry, cracked and itchy. aloe vera is known as holy grail ingredient in the skin care industry. It has antioxidant property. It reduces wrinkles. It has anti-inflammatory property5.
3. Pomegranate

Antioxidant properties of pomegranate results in protection of the skin,also seed have properties to generate the skin &rehydrate the skin . Pomegranate fruits, fruit juice, its seeds, and peels are known to have higher contents of bioactive compounds, phenolic acids, flavonoids, and hydrolysable tannins. The peels of pomegranate fruits are the major by-products produced during processing of pomegranate enriched in antioxidants and broad-spectrum antimicrobial agents1.

6. Solanum Lycopersicum
Common name: Tomato
Family: Solanaceae
Tomato have the highest antioxidant activity of all the carotenoids, due to this property it is used as an anti-ageing in skin care products8 .Tomato contains alpha and beta carotenoid that helps skin against damaging free radical, carotinoids also prevent the degradation of collagen, elastin and fibrillin.

IV. PREPARATION OF LIPSTICK
Weight all the ingredient accurately by using scientific weighing balance. By using double boiler process firstly add base like wax then add hard wax. They get melted by heat then add liquid paraffin, lanolin, methyl paraffin.
Mix them well after that add the oils like orange oil and castor oil sturr it properly so the mixing of the oils in that. After that remove beaker from double boiler and then add the extract to that and sturr properly then add the 1-2 drops of essence to that.
By using lipstick molds given the shape to the lipstick Apply Vaseline to corners of molds and pour all sample to that mold place the mold in freeze for 2hrs. Then remove lipstick from mold .application of Vaseline to the mold the lipstick gets easily remove.
Then place the lipstick in lipstick stand.

It can be identified by using the capillary tube method. The sample first melted and feel in the capillary tube and then identified the melting point. Identification of the melting point is the major thing for checking the safety limit.
Boiling point
This test can be taken to check at which maximum pressure at they get break. Lipstick not to be too soft n hard also.
Solubility: -
Sample is insoluble in water and soluble in methanol solubility check by using normal water. Amount of sample is poured into a beaker filled with water and identifying and also observe. Does not dissolve in water. But it gets easily dissolved in methanol.
Collection of ingredients
1stly collect all the natural ingredients like beet root, papaya, onion, pomegranate, turmeric etc. Form mark and other ingredients like aloe Vera, hibiscus petal, neem leaf collection from garden.
Preparation of extract
Wash all the ingredients with normal water and cut it in a small piece. Then make a paste of all ingredients.
Assembly set-
Setup the assembly like heating mantle, flask, and inlet outlet for the water. After the set of assembly put all the extract in RBF then set the temperature at 60-70? for 2hrs.
After that cool the extract at room temp. Then filter by using filter paper and collect in Beaker. Then put the extract 2-3 days for drying.

From the above research data, it states that herbal lipstick is more beneficial than the chemically prepared lipstick.it gives proper medicated property ande better nourishment and treatment of different lip problems. The ideal properties & characteristics are give proper idea about quality and curative effect about herbal Lipstick. properties such as melting point, breaking point, solubility, spreading are found to be satisfactory product to give attractive beauty and nourishment of lips.
